Updating the Blog

I have experienced a situation that I can imagine is also felt by my students - when do I create blog posting?  Three weeks have sneaked by since my last blog posting - how could this happen?  I do have plenty of content to write about:  cool stories about connections created, both inside and outside the class, under the pretense of a similar interest and students designing their blogs in ways the capture and further the content on which they are blogging.  I anticipate my next few postings to highlight outstanding student blogs...for the time being - blog, blog, blog - find time to blog!

Composition Class - Fall 2011

The blogging has begun.  My students have - by in large - all embarked on the creation, posting, and following/commenting of their blogs and others' blogs.  The feedback that I am getting from them is entirely positive - with several comments sounding similiar to:  This blog unit sounds really cool - I probably wouldn't have created my own blog if I didn't have to for this class, but I look forward to updating it.
As the teacher, I hope to follow all the students' blogs and make as many connections and comments as possible - an ingredient that seemed to be missing from last sememster's blog unit - the connections.  Here we go!
